Except for the binding.. But I really wanted to show all of you! :)

Boy, I think that may have burned some calories! My arms were tired when I was finished! I really enjoyed doing it... but there are plenty of mistakes! Long stiches and sharp corners.. ugh.. but I will be doing this more often for sure!!

Tried stippling around the center heart

Good job. Don't tire yourself out! I know you want to finish but that's why you get the long stitches. Don't "push" too hard. Keep up the good work!

Great job! It looks like you did an awesome job for the first time. It will only get better with more practice. Have you checked Leah Day's website? She has great patterns and a video tutorial with each one. Some of them are hard, some are easy....but all of them will give you a different look other than basic stippling. Good luck at keep at it!

Oh isn't that lovely? I'm sure you know where every mistake is, but trust me, we can't see them ... and we don't care! This is a great first shot at FMQ so keep up the great work.

you did beautifully, I hope this encourages all of us to try something new, something we are afraid of, something that will excite us. There is nothing better than facing a fear and finding yet another skill that will make our future quilts even more beautiful than before.
