I just finished making this table topper. I like it alot but I think I have to "un-sew" one section of the outer border. It does not lay flat. Not sure how to quilt it. I would like to just do some large meandering in the center but I am not good at doing FMQ. Also do you think I could use a silver thread to do the quilting part?
The fabrics are new. Just got it at JoAnn's and from Fabrics.com. Oh yes and the fruit ladies arrived from Fabrics.com today?
Now lets see if I can get the pics on here!!

The fabrics in the topper are not the new ones. I have had those in my stash for several years. The dark border has lots of silver sparkles and the center has silver in it too. It doesn't show as such in the pics though.
