That is so pretty I love the colors you used. Ironically I was just thinking about those after getting an email that they are on sale at Quilt in a Day. The one in the email was blue and brown it was stunning, reminded me that I bought the pattern over a year ago!

Great Job! I don't plan on making one anytime soon but do appreciate the time you took to list tips. Thank you!

Love your rug. I have thinking about making one for under my kitchen table. You mentioned Quiltah Mama, is this where I could locate the pattern?

I very much appreciated your detailed tips on how you made your first rug! I made the rectangular rug - through that experience, i realized that i needed to do something different the next time around but wasn’t sure what that might be! Thank you!

Here is my simple rectangular one (hope my photo posts the proper direction - having some difficulty with that!).

Looks fabulous. Do you need to put a "backing" on it to stop it slipping on the floor?

Thank you! Regarding a backing to make the rug stay put... i didn’t find that i need one - but this is only my first jelly roll rug so maybe those with more experience can chime in here with their thoughts 😊

Although this is my first jelly roll rug, i have made a few other rugs from jeans and havent found that they needed any special backing either. Maybe its just personal preference?

Lovely rug, and thanks for sharing your tips with us! I have two rolls of the precut batting strips but I haven't gathered the courage yet to make a rug. Hopefully one day soon!
