Thread: First Kentucky log

    I made this Kentucky log cabin for my 84 year old mother for christmas. I have to finish the quilting going to put her favorite, feathers, as soon as I get better at them.

    Hi and yes that is where I got the pattern from. Judy Martin is one of my favorite quilters. I just got started quilting less then a year ago on the machine. didn't do much before that had to work and did quilting by hand. Hands wont let me do hand quilting anymore..

    Thank you all for all the nice reviews and kind words. I am very proud of it too since it is my first.I am waiting on the diamond tutorial so I can give that one a try and it took me about 2 weeks to make the Kentucky log cabin.
