    Good job. I would use the lighter colored fabric to bind.

    I would choose something with a stripe for the binding. There are so many choices out there now that you might be able to find a piece that has pink and yellow stripes, which would be perfect. I like the idea of a yellow border but if it isn't square, go with the pink and it will help hide that fact. ;)
