it is absolutely beautiful quilt top and if you do not mind me asking what lenght of basic fabric did you need? I have just purchased some for my mosaic quilt and am not sure if I will have enough. Thanx

Depends on the distance between repeats. You will need six repeats plus a bit more. I usually end up getting 5 yards, but again, I do check to see if the repeat is 18 or 24 inches apart and purchase accordingly. (If I have my 40% coupon I get more if I really love the fabric.

If you want to make cubes, then this book is for you. I have all three books, but haven't made cubes yet. Making another OBW is on the back back burner for now. I've made 4. I do have fabric chunks for at least 10 more tho...

I have the cubed book, found it at a thrift store, but I haven't had the first book, and I find the cubed book a little overwhelming. I'm thinking I'll need the first book or at least to make a couple from the tutes before I get into the cubed book again. LOL

Beautiful! I like how you incorporated the original fabric in the border!
