Hi Jan. I used Maxine Rosenthal's book One-Block Wonders for the instructions to make the hexagon blocks. The rest of the design is mine. She also has another book titled One-Block Wonders Cubed that I may purchase.

it is absolutely beautiful quilt top and if you do not mind me asking what lenght of basic fabric did you need? I have just purchased some for my mosaic quilt and am not sure if I will have enough. Thanx

Depends on the distance between repeats. You will need six repeats plus a bit more. I usually end up getting 5 yards, but again, I do check to see if the repeat is 18 or 24 inches apart and purchase accordingly. (If I have my 40% coupon I get more if I really love the fabric.
