This purse is the first project I completed with my new Brother XR 7700 computerized sewing machine. I have never used a computerized machine before I had to get used to a few of the features. I think my first quilt project will be a "Crazy Shortcut" quilt do I can use some of the decorative stitches.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I used Simplicity 2617 for this purse. I made some modifications to the finished bag. I liked the straps from one view and the bag from another view. The bag came with the zippered pocket and I put a zippered pocket on both sides and then added the pockets on both sides.

I like that....nice colors. You did a great job learning on your new machine. I have never used those magnetic closures. How do you attach them?
