From top to bottom I am assuming that top row is back, middle row is body and last row is front. Am I reading too much into this? In any case, congratulations on your first, fine job.

I am assuming that this is a dog and the top row is the behind, middle row body and bottom row is head. Am I correct? In any case congratulations are in order, you did a great job.

I hate to admit how long it took me to realize that there was a dog on this quilt. I was just thinking it was a modern design. I love the pattern, and you did a wonderful job on it. Very cute quilt.

That is really funny. Makes me chuckle. It is Charming that your first quilt is so whimsical. You did this Dashound proud.

EDIT: As far as making mistakes, Every 'mistake' is an opportunity to be creative. As you look through the pictures on QB you will see and read lots about what people think are mistakes and how they 'fixed' it. Remember that a pattern is just a guide for you to develope your own creation. You are doing terrific!
