From top to bottom I am assuming that top row is back, middle row is body and last row is front. Am I reading too much into this?

I hate to admit how long it took me to realize that there was a dog on this quilt. I was just thinking it was a modern design. I love the pattern, and you did a wonderful job on it. Very cute quilt.

EDIT: As far as making mistakes, Every 'mistake' is an opportunity to be creative. As you look through the pictures on QB you will see and read lots about what people think are mistakes and how they 'fixed' it. Remember that a pattern is just a guide for you to develope your own creation. You are doing terrific!
