    You did a wonderful job. I would be very proud of that as a first quilt. Take your time and figure out what you want to do next. There are ways to get material other than the fabric store. Watch local ads or ask around. Someone may have something to repurpose and you can go from there. I look forward to seeing the quilt you make for your friend.

    You have learned a lot of lessons on your first quilt. I think you did a great job! Your colors go together very well! Look forward to seeing more of your work. When you quilted this did you use a walking foot?

    You've every right to be proud and very pleased with your quilt. I love the visuals and vivid colors make kids happy.
