Default First Quilt as You Go

It started out as a practice for FMQ but ended up being a quilt! I thought I would make a 6 or 9 block practice for QAYG learning, but when DH saw, he loved it. Well, I didn't have enough backing, so that explains the back. I learned so much. I'm already planning the next one! Each block was quilted differently. Honestly. the first 12-15 were exciting, then I had to search for ideas, which also turned out to be fun. Bottom line- I had so much fun making this quilt.

Your medallions are beautiful. They certainly stand out against the black. Your quilting looks impressive, too, for practice FMQ.
