Red face First Sampler Quilt is FINISHED!

I finished my first sampler quilt today! The pattern called for some pretty messy connector blocks, which I thought took away from the main blocks. So I changed them to plain white and thought I could have a bit of fun with the empty space.

Looks lovely! Yes, the areas of white space give the quilt an open, airy look, which is perfect for those fabrics. All your blocks are great.

Very nice sampler and the white connector blocks give the opportunity for some great quilting options.

I love the white around the pretty blocks.

Beautiful. Your blocks set off by white really give each one a chance to shine.

Oh yes, good choice. I like the way the sampler blocks "float". The white showcases your lovely work.
