Hi MaryAnnMc! A request went out from seasaw2mch for sheets (other than white) and decorated with bright colors, i.e. butterflies, angels, doves, Am flag etc. This hospital wants to use them to cover our dead soldiers when they take the soldier to the morgue. I know! Very, very heart wrenching. Things that we don't ever think about. Anyway, here is the site with the request and directions for making the sheets or quilts.

Bjolly! Here is the original request. I am sure that the hospital can use all of the help they can get.

Could you please share a little more about the back story on this project?

Thanks!
QuiltE! Here is the original request for the sheets and quilts. I am sure they can use all the sheets that we can send them.

thanks for sharing
I am sorry this is so late. I grabbed the butterfly image off of Yahoo's image section - typed in butterflies. The black border was attached over the print fabric with Wonder Under. Then I stitched it down with my Pfaff. I used a blanket stitch.
