Default First time to post

I have only been quilting about 1 1/2 yrs, so I still consider myself a newbie. I got a longarm - Gammill 22" a couple of months ago, but this is only the 3rd quilt I have completed on it. I did 4 'practice' sandwiches before I worked up the courage to work on something 'real'. I first did a charity quilt, then a very early quilt I had pieced that I wasn't too crazy about, so I considered it low risk. Then - I pieced this batik for my Dad for his 80th birthday, and it needed to be quilted.. so, I figured it was time to jump in with both feet. And - here is the result. I had so much fun, and I'm very pleased with the results.

Envy, Envy, Envy. I have been quilting about the same time. I just piece. I am thankful for those of you with longarms that help me out so I can finish them up. Great work and welcome!!
