Maybe I need to find a new thrift shop, I never find fabric at mine. Anyone seen Bonnie Hunter's new book Shirttails? She talks about using recycled fabrics to make quilts. Check out her web site, Quiltsville
Have a nice day all

Don't know about your's but mine gives me a 25% discount on Wednesdays because I'm over 55---an aged senior! LOL

Looks like you got some good buys. I see you're from Illinois too. I haven't been to mine in a few weeks, if it's the same one that might be why you found so much. Looks like you got a great deal.

Don't for get to visit Value Village if you have one. They are afiliated with the National Kidney Foundation. I have found quite a bit of fabric (old and new, scraps and yardage) all bagged up together for $3.50 a bag.

Hey I am in Illinois also, so I am hoping you aren't in my area stores!!!!

I just love finding the sewing items and going through the Men's jackets to find good wool for applique projects!!!

Found $2.99 wood bookcase/shoe shelf that I painted for my printer.... My husband asks "Did they have anymore? I could use one for my shop" ... He will just have to go with next time!!! ;)
