Hancocks has Best Press on sale right now at my store, I stocked up on the stuff because it was on clearence! It will help with all those biased edges. Good job, by the way.

2 suggestions for stretching problem--sew with walking foot or spray starch each piece. Your block looks great & I'd love to see the finished top.

Recently finished my first day and night quilt. Came out pretty well and I really like it. I am trying to figure out how to quilt it also. I don't do my own quilting, send it to a longarmer. Since it was so much work, I really want the quilting pattern to be just right. I plan to use a white tone on tone for the backing and want a dark purple thread so it will standout on the back. Sometimes that is my favorite part! So....any suggestions??

I like the purple one too.
