Default first try at a kaleidescope quilt

this was so fun to put together but with the AHEM errors that i made we had to quickly redesign the size of this quilt! it ended up being 55x62. not sure if that is appropriate for a lap quilt or if i should gift this to my nephew and his bride who is having their first in september. she would definitely be able to use this for alot of years! what do you think?

I think you did a beautiful job. I love the colors and the contrast. It's a nice size for a lap quilt, a bit large for an actual crib quilt but the baby sure could get a lot of use out of it. Depends on whether you want to gift it or keep it for yourself. It's your call.

Beautiful quilt, and as I looked at each block it made me feel like I was looking through one.

You did an awesome job...I love it!!! I would go ahead and give it to your nephew and his wife. I'm sure they would treasure it and it they wanted to, keep it a little while until the baby grew up some and then give it to him/her. Of course....if you can't find a home for it, I've got one!!! lol

I think it's beautiful! I love the white background. Really sets off the blocks. Great job.

Beautiful quilt and would work good for either of your options! I'd be tempted to keep it if it were mine!
