Love the quilt. Says volumns about the quality and beauty of quilts from "scraps". Seeing this just enhances my joy when I open my scrap drawer. Also, thanks so much for link to website. As you know we all spend way too much money on books, but just can't help ourselves. My son says my quilting is my only vice...thank goodness!

I made the same quilt for my then 13 yr. old grandson in plaids, checks and some colourful stripes.
It's masculine looking, which was important to me.

The site has an extensive list of quilting books (listed under needlecraft), priced from $4.95 and up. They don't take credit cards so you can fill out an order sheet, print it and then mail it with your check. Shipping is low. You can also order a catalogue. This is an excellent site to get low-cost quilting books.
