What a terrific pictoral piece -- and I especially love the way you added his mailbox and the two small birds. It's a wonderful tribute to a man's life and your friend will love you for doing it for her.

Love the little finches on the mailbox. And the sky--it picks up the colors in the barn so well, and the golden grain. You have made a lovely creation, the heavens overhead and the fertile fragrant
    earth.
    My fabric talks to me.

Very nice. lovely colors, nice balance. Well done.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

This is spectacular! You did such a beautiful job, and all the fabric choices are so right for their locations on this, too! I was amazed to zoom in and pick out a second building behind the red barn, not to mention the hay rake in the lower right front, and the birds on the mailbox are a wonderfully delightful touch.
For some strange reason I have a soft spot for barns, so this is right up my alley.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

Wonderful wallhanging! Is the sky pieced or a piece of printed fabric, it is beautiful!

This is all pieced, except for the birds the rest I chose the fabric, and thank you all for your AWESOME remarks, MRSAJ11
