I like it, love the quilting, and the border. It looks like sooooo much work, I am glad you had fun making it. Thank you for sharing.

Amazing - love the fabric as it really complements your fish. Thank you.

The border is simply small pleats that are ironed one way and then sew down the middle in the opposite direction. Start with a strip of any width. Mark each side at one inch intervals or whatever size you want. Then sew across each pleats to make it permanent, first in one direction and then in the other until all of the marks have been pleated. Press all the pleat in one direction and edge stitch them down. Then turn the strip around and sew down the middle to make the pleats twist. You can also sew one edge one direction and the other edge the opposite for an interesting look.

I love it! The border reminds me of fish bones! Would be great to hang most anywhere. Might even be cute in a bathroom... or how about making a mate of a whimsical lobster (or something else from the food group) and hang them in your dining room? I just adore it! Would you mind telling where you got the pattern? Here in FL fish can go anywhere in the house! I'd like it as maybe a pillow. Great work. Kudos.

What a unique quilt! The quilting, borders and fabric choices make a simple design very special.

Thank you for the instructions. Sounds like something I can do and will try! Marilynsue

Someone will love it! Maybe put it into an auction for a good cause.
