Thread: FISH PINCUSHION

    I made many of these years ago and thought I'd pull out the pattern again and make a few more for some new quilting friends...thought you might like to see it ... the ribbon around it near the tail was just there to hold on a tag I had wanted to attach

    Wow! That's adorable and I can see it used in so many ways besides a pin cushion...lots of them in a mobile, make them larger for poolside pillows, stuffed toys for toddlers (without the button), etc. Very cool!

    The name of the pattern is RUMPLEDQUILTSKINS
    CHECKERBOARD AND TIGER FISH PATTERNS

    RQS PRODUCTIONS, INC

    ...I grately reduced the size to make my pincushions
    The original pattern made 15" long fish

    I stuff mine with just poly batting and some of those craft pellets in the bottom to weight it down a bit

    That is wonderful ..had no idea it was still available...if you make some let me know! Like I said before I reduced the pattern a lot but can't remember exactly how much...
