Thanks girls! Thanksgiving chores and cooking have kept me busy the last couple days. Sorry for not commenting before now.
I have picked out a few more fabric companion settings so soon as I can get back to them they will be easy to get a move on. LOL!

Thanks so much! I have to slow way down to topstitch and many times I use a heat disapearing marker to make the lines before stitching and a top stitching needle helps too.
Maybe this will help you a little next time.

Polly,
There are many types of sewing machine needles you can buy. One is a top stitiching needle that has a nice sharp point and a larger groove that runs down it to accomodate the heavier topstitching thread. Just look next time you are in a sewing store. They are there with all the other types. The smetz brand makes them.

Thank you Red Garnett for the top stitching needle explanation. I thought perhaps it was for a specific sewing machine. I will look for it.
