WOW!! For both the quilt and the history. Absolutely awesome.

Love to hear about quilts that are literally loved to pieces. Aris must have truly loved the quilt to still have it and you have done a fabulous job restoring it. Are the animals appliqued or embroidered??

Katesnanna The quilt is a wholecloth "cheater", and the fabric was just threadbare in some places. I hope I quilted it tight enough for it to hold together
