    Default Flag quilt race

I've spent the last two weeks sitting at the computer writing quilt patterns. I need a break! So Saturday morning I started looking for a quick quilt pattern written by someone else. By noon on Saturday I was cutting fabric for this super quick flag block found in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgYS_7HJAiQ My quilt is a little bigger than suggested in the video, changing the sashing and borders to suit my piecing style and needs. Sunday morning I finished piecing the blocks and started adding the sashing and borders. Somewhere in all the flying threads a decision was made to try to finish this quilt by midnight Sunday. Well as you can see the deadline was not met. But it was fun trying. New deadline is...by bedtime today, Monday.
