Finished this top last weekend. The recipient has always wanted a flag themed quilt and I saw a similar picture somewhere on this board that I used as inspiration. Having all the broad strips take up the middle section sure speed up the time it took to piece this one. The dear lady's husband was in the military, she has three daughters and at least two sons-in-law who are or have also served. Now it is on it's way to Charisma for her magic.

My husband is retired AF and he would love this quilt. You did a fantatic job and she is going to love it too. You have placed everything on the quilt perfectly. It looks like it was a labor of love and you are right, Charisma is going to work her magic on this one. Will you post a photo when the quilting is done?
