So here are some pics of a flannel crazy quilt I have been working on for 3 years on and off. ( some many other quilts got in the way.) It's for my DH. He can't wait till I finally finish it. I have more to add to it. Some ric/rac and more fancy stiches, but it's gotten a lot closer to it's final destination.

So it is all various jewel tone flannel pieces. Some have a small print. I plan on putting a very small dark blue boarder around each block and then adding a wider black border followed by a dark gold to frame it then the outside border with this stamped rust flannel peice. I'll send more pics once it's finished.

Looks very nice so far, I can't wait to see it finished. It is very bright and cheerful. I know what you mean about other things getting put in front. They do seem to eventually get done though, nice not to have a deadline, it is less stressful that way.

Wow now I do love the vibrant colors that the flannel gives
I bet he is nice and warm with this to snuggle in this winter. :D :thumbup:

i love flannel quilts- so soft/fluffy and cozy!
with fall/winter coming it will be so great to snuggle with!
