    Last year, I gave my MIL a flannel pillow, since she likes to read in bed. Decided to give her a coordinating flannel lap quilt for Christmas. Hand-tied the center (excessively), which helped hide badly aligned squares. Machine quilted the rest of it.

    Finished just before I wrapped it. It was cold at SIL's house, so MIL quikly put it to use.

    MIL with lap quilt, FIL looking jealous?

    She loved it!!! Maybe if FIL is lucky she'll let him borrow it someday! Ha.... Nice job, she must be special!

    Beautiful. Looks so comfy. I have one for each guest that comes to my house. My house is over 100 years old - its cold!!!
