I would like to know how you handled the flannel. Did you wash is first? if so, How many times? Did you sew together in a special way so that it would not shrink if you did not wash the fabric? I used flannel for the first time for a backing and had to wash and dry it 3 times and then after ironing it use the fuzz buzzer gagget to take a way some of the little balls. Disappointing as I can imagine that will happen each time during a life time of washing. I would like to learn more about handling the fabric....please.
