Default Flannel quilt for my son

So my son wanted a quilt to replace the one I made for him for his high school graduation. He didn’t want that one to wear more since it’s all hand quilted. “Just sew some squares together, Mom”. So I made him one quilt top (in another post), and showed him while he was cuddled under a flannel couch quilt. “Too bad it’s not like this one that is so warm”, he said. So back to the stash I went and found a bunch of flannels lurking there. And this is the result. Hopefully I can get the pictures to upload. The last picture is what is left in the bin. Most of it is quilted by a long-arm quilter and I hand quilted the center. Size is full/queen and the pattern is just how it evolved. My sketches are pretty funny and really different from the end result.

What a good mom you are. The quilt looks very handsome and warm. Love your colors and the handquilted center.

Love this cozy warm quilt. It just reads snuggle with the love that went into making this quilt.

You had a wonderful stash. It's so rewarding when you can go to your stash, sew up a quilt and it all comes together. He will Love this one.
