I really like your touch of black flannel added to the blocks. Red and Black are my son's college colors. The D4patch block looks perfect with the plaids and solids. I would love to make my son a quilt like this one. What size block did you chose?

Can you please ask your sister where she purchased the king size flannel sheet set? I was hoping if it has been recently, that I may be able to find one like it. Thanks bunches for posting your quilt. It does look so soft and warm!

copycat - - I started with 8" squares... sewed 4 of them into a 4 patch and then made the DP4 from that. The sheets were purchased from Amazon
