Thread: Flip Flop Quilt

    The flip flops are machine embroidered (alas, not by me)
    on white blocks. I just pieced the blocks together, added a small 1" yellow 'frame' then a multi colored piano key border.

    Nice job! I found that pattern in one of the quilt magazines and want to create it. Did you use fat quarters for the various flip flops?

    My daughter is a flip flop nut and it's on my "to do" list, once I figure out how to applique on my old Singer Featherweight. I've done hand applique and my hands are not what they used to be.... ;)

    That's really cute! I have an embroidery machine but rarely use it for lack of ideas.

    You know what would be really neat? Since there are 12 pairs of flip flops, doing one for each month!

    I grew up wearing flip flops year round and I know there are others like me! LOL
