Default Flip flops ... Thinking of summer

My promise to myself this year was to try new things ... First up was machine appliqué. I have liked this pattern for a while, so this was my project. It didn't require the purchase of much fabric, as my bins were full of good sized pieces! It was a great learning experience and a really fun quilt top to make. All I need now is summer!'

Cute. I love the bright colors you used. I can almost feel the warm summer weather

Ahhhhh, my favorite things -- flip flops! I want to make that quilt, too! Great quilt!

I think we all should come and try a pair, maybe in the sunshine!!! Since the forecast is 14" plus of snow here in DE.
