Default Floral Appliqué - Framed with Feathers

Just thought I'd share a few of my favorite blocks from a quilt I'm currently working on for a client and quilting friend. I haven't posted in a while - I upgraded my machine since last time I shared but it's still about the same age as my old Ulti. I ended up trading it up for a Millennium so now I have that stitch regulation I've been lusting after for so long! I was able to get a lot done without it, but boy have my design options opened up with the new machine. Really having a great time being able to dream up and execute fun quilting plans.

WOW!! Gorgeous quilting, you really make the appliqués pop. Your client did great machine appliqué also.

Thank you! It really is beautiful appliqué - I know the pattern name is Feels Like Spring by Smith Street Designs...it's a machine embroidery pattern...lots of really gorgeous delicate flowers. It was stunning before quilting...but I'm super happy I got to play on it. I'm a girly girl so I loved having the opportunity to put frilly feathers and girly designs all over it.

Absolutely gorgeous, you really enhanced an already beautiful quilt. I'm sure the quilter will be pleased.
