    Floral Log Cabin Update

Between hobbling around with a pulled hip muscle and then the flu, I've been SLOWLY working on the floral log cabin blocks. I managed to get a total of 18 blocks done this past week. 30 still to go, but only the last 2 rounds on each of those. I'm actually looking forward to doing one of these in pastel, maybe yellows, reds & oranges, maybe peaches and blues, maybe??? Yeah, ummm...I think I"m hooked! AND already have lots of extra pieces already cut, leftover ends from the strips, so can see a LOT more lob cabins in my quilting future.

Anyway, here's where I'm at as of today!

    Finished grouping of four blocks:

Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

So, so, so absolutely beautiful. I want to make one someday! Did you use a backing to sew them on?
    Retired teacher, loving it.

Beautiful! I've been saving florals for the same purpose. They look so pretty together.

    Very pretty.
When it seems like the world is falling to pieces remember that the pieces are falling into place. We are nearing closer to the End Times.

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful! I don't think I have ever met a log cabin that I didn't like, though. But this is gorgeous!

Very very appealing! The blue is so pretty and the florals do not overpower- it is beautifully balanced- well done!

    Thanks!
No backing, just strip-sewed them. I'll still need to add batting and backing, etc.
