Default Flotsam

Flotsam is defined as anything floating after a shipwreck. In today's world, we tend to refer to the aftermath of any disaster ---physical or emotional---as flotsam. I would like to offer up a new definition of Flotsam---F(riends) L(eading) O(thers) T (o) S(ee) A(nother) M(orning)! There are many times that I have seen members of this board being the flotsam that another member has held onto in moments of need--a family death, a life threatening diagnosis, heartaches, etc. My thanks go out to Sapphire Rose, Rhonda, Challys, TuckyQuilter, Nelco, PlayswithColor, Sheepshed, Liz222, Jaba, Katz-n-Kwiltz, MandyRose, Stitchin'Post, WordPainter, Anastasia, Boston1954, and Chester the Bunny who have stepped forward to help me put together this quilt as Flotsam for another member who was going through some rough moments during the first holidays after the death of her mother. I hope she finds this Version of FLOTSAM comforting also.

This quilt was sent to Zozee . she was having a hard time getting through those first holidays without her mother. She is always so ready with a smile, hugs and prayers for everyone else that i just felt the need to do something for her. Per her response on Facebook, she loves it.
