Flower baskets finally quilted and ready to show!

This quilt required a lot of opinions from members here ever so long ago (literally back in February of 2011). I finished the top then stuffed it in a closet until this summer. I wanted to enter a new quilt in an upcoming show but knew I didn't have time to start from scratch piecing a top and then quilting. So out this top came and the past month and a half has been spent quilting. Put the label on this afternoon and bagged her up to deliver tomorrow. The show is next weekend (5th, 6th and 7th) and my birthday is on the 7th so I'm hoping for some birthday luck.

With that beautiful quilt, I don't think you'll need any luck. The pattern and colors are beautiful and the quilting just completed it!!!

You should win a first with that. That is beautiful beyond description. The quilting really does "make" the quilt. Excellent, excellent. Whatever happens, have a happy birthday.

Wow! I'm in love with this quilt! Do you have a long arm or did you quilt it on a DSM? Your quilting is amazing! You would earn a blue ribbon from me!

Thank you for all your kind words! I don't have a long arm, just a domestic machine. I purchased the Janome Horizon this summer and absolutely love it.

When I opened this, my first thought was " OOOOOH- PRETTY!!!! Then I kept looking and I think it is absolutely magnificent. I give you a ten-plus and a gold star, blue ribbon. Be very pleased with yourself, because this is an outstanding piece of art.
    Blessings, Roberta
