    Another easy design. Is this original? Well, I did not copy from another source, but surely others have made similar pincushions!

    Dritz butterfly pins, how cute!

    We made pincushions for our moms in GAs when I was 8 or 9. That was in the '70s. So it has been around for a while! We cut out felt flowers and leaves and pinned them on with beads at the ends of the pins. My mom still has mine!

    I have seen a lot of animal designs but i can't stick a pin in a turtle or a bird!

    My speciality is making pillows so one I sat down and started making pillow pincushions, they are very pretty and hold lots of pins. I make them in lots of different sizes and shapes! No animals to stick pins in! :lol: :mrgreen:
