I made the quilt from flower sacks. Even though they are about 50 years old they are in excellant condition. Some have age spots, but I like that look so I use them too.

I keep going to thrift shops and estate sales, etc. Apparantly no one here thought to save feed sacks- I never see them.

Your quilt is so cool. I love the idea of knowing it's a quilt made the heirloom way- taking old things and giving a new purpose.
