Where did you purchase your fabric?

I got the framed flowers at Fabric.com and the border fabric at villagecomforts.com I don't know if it's still there or not, it was on clearance.

It's Robert Kaufman - Botanica. It comes in 3 flavors, I think... Vintage (what I got), Autumn, and Jewel. It seems to be pretty rare and I had a hard time finding the large floral.

I just found a few of the fabrics at http://www.trinityquilts.com/categor...tegory_id=1599

That fabric is gorgeous! Very vibrant colors. Can't wait to see your design go from paper to fabric.

I know it's been awhile since this was first posted but been working on other things and I didn't like the jelly roll strips that I got for it. I happened to see these bundles today so I ordered them for this quilt. It's a lot more than I need but really... is there such a thing as too much fabric?

I won't be working on it quite yet since I am getting close to finishing up the current quilt and then I need to do the one for my son that I have all the fabric for. I think this one will be the next one after that.

I got a book, started looking for "something" to put in the squares between the braids, and saw the framed flower print that turned out to be exactly the right size. Then came the idea about the different colored braids with a coordinating flower from the print.

I'm really looking forward to doing this one. I like all the color in it.

One thing I notice is that when looking at the 4 ranges of colors, the yellow really stands out. That might be the same when it's in the quilt... the yellow will dominate it just because it is different. Might have to take a look at that in real life and see if it should be left out.
