Wonderful ! I think there might have been a differant name in the 80's.. They were popular then too..

Nice to see something wrap back around! I did a lot of these for gifts. Even one for a door hanging ( Granparent's holiday door decoration)..

Wonderful piece there ! Thanks for sharing and helping me remember a pleasant time.

Hey if your Family doesn't like these, there are plenty of us whom would take them off your hands.

Dungeonquilter did a tutorial on this pattern - I certainly would not have done it without the tutorial. Here is the link :quiltingboard.com/t-116058-1.htm. Look up Folded Dahlia tutorial - it was posted not too long ago. I didn't know if I could do this but its not really hard - the preparation takes the longest - all that cutting and ironing - oh, and picking fabrics - that part is difficult for me.

Oh that is so pretty. Where did you get the pattern? I tried to download the pattern that was on this board several weeks ago, but could not get it to translate to English. I want to really do one of these. Care to share your pattern if it is in English? Gerbie

What an absolutely gorgeous Dahlia pillow!! I have several bookmarked including the tutorials. I will definitely have to start working on one....or at least move it up on my to-do list. You did a beautiful job. Thank you for sharing.
