[quote=omak]Do you mean to tell me that your hubby took perfectly good wood, cut it up, connected it back together and then covered it up???
hmmm ... LOL
Omak.....No cutting, no connecting and no covering.......unless you mean the covering with paint....just a lot of taping and painting and waiting for it to dry.....
and then some more taping and painting.....and so on...........
but it kept him busy....and I do think that they out pretty nice.

Please post again when you put them in your garden.
and the rest was up to him.

Your hubby did a great job! You might be able to hire him out to make these even bigger for sides of barns, top of doors at quilt shops, any outside buildings etc.
He has a talent!

Those look beautiful. They could brighten up a shed or house . What kind of would did he use , and what kind of sealer to protect it? Do you think they would hold up in winters with the freezing temps?

I think that this is a great idea for a plaque next to your front door. Especially if you paint thier last name on it in white, centered.
I am thinking many quilter's would pay good money for such a plaque. Is hubby looking for some extra money?
I like it, can you tell?? LOL!
