I am making this for one of the girls at work. It will be auctioned to raise money for the school sports program.

It started out as a piece of green Kona, all the lines and numbers are embroidered. My wonderful sister cut the letters for me on her Cricut machine (hint for Santa!) I appliqued the letters and helmet and added the borders. It isn't quilted or ironed - yet.

that is a great quilt. is that a special cricut machine for fabric, or the regular paper one? i didn't know they made one for fabric.

I asked her. It is a regular Cricut machine. I had to leave the paper on the wonder under on the fabric, then she cut the letters. The Y in the middle is 16 1/2 inches tall, done on her Cricut
