    The Craigslist ad said:
"Singer sewing machine older model sits on a trundle cabinet but it is electric. sews great and it is well maintained. $50.00 a Tin box of attachment and a button attachment are included"
The machine was an older woman's mother's machine and her grandfather had added the electric motor. DH went and bought it for me and said "Happy Birthday" (and it sure is!)

So very nice. You are lucky to have it.
Now you will have to think of a name.

I am soooo envious!! I just paid $25 for one that has some rust, and the cabinet needs a lot of work (top will have to be replaced), and it needs a new belt -and I was exited -but now I'm in awe!!!! Happy Birthday and congratulations!!

I saw a listing on our CLIST site that had a LAMP made out of the head of an old black sewing machine. The shade sat
above the wheel end. It was very cute for a sewing/craft room. I am NOT buying it...(I will keep repeating that to myself until it takes hold in my brain)
