I was going through my stash and found this attempt I made trying to make a quilt top. It has been 3 or 4 years ago. I really don't feel like doing it but I have all the material, so I guess I will give it a try. I want something fresh and new, but I will make the effort. It just does not appeal to me, but I do like the colours.

Oh, I love it. It can come live with me any time. I have a friend, too, who loves anything purple. It is a very pretty Trip Around the World.

so, if you like the fabrics, but don't like the quilt what is stopping you from using the fabrics to make something else? you bought it you can do any thing you want with it. no reason to try to work on something you don't like, when you have the fabric to do something you do like.
