That young lady is going to feel so loved! The quilt is spectacular. Sorry for your trouble but it was certainly worth it.

Your granddaughter will love this beautiful quilt and pillowcases AND you for making it for her. Great job, despite the hours of picking out!

Great job!!! This is definitely a one-of-a-kind quilt. It must have been frustrating to spend so many hours ripping out the stitches, but if you hadn't, you would have regretted it every day. I hope your (all the adjectives above) granddaughter appreciated the love you put into every stitch.

I know what you’re saying! Sometimes I know I’m not that crazy about the quilting but I keep on going. Why do I do that then have to rip out even more!??! Anyway, your finished quilt is absolutely perfect.

Gorgeous quilt but hate to hear all of the ripping you had to do. Beautiful finish and glad you are happy with the done projects.

It’s lovely! Is that a panel? If not I really need to know how you did your lettering!

Fabulously done...your quilting is perfect and although a hassle to rip so long, it was worth making it what you wanted. Emilia is blessed to have a talented and caring Nana.

Each letter was made with two fabrics...dark for the shadow and the colored fabric for the letter then appliqued with a buttonhole stitch. The alphabet came with the pattern.
