    Default Fourth of July

I know it's late, but I've had a lot going on so I'm just getting around to posting these pics now. I made the flag banner last year from a paper piecing pattern I found online. This year I decided to take the same paper piecing pattern and use it to make blocks for a table runner. I'm really happy with how they came out. Enjoy!

Oh you know I like these! I like anything patriotic. Please tell, what size are each of your little flags? I don't do a lot of decorations but either of these would be nice.

I love the banner idea. I too would be interested in the size of your flags. I am currently working on three flag quilts. One is a finished flimsy, and I am at various stages with the other two.

The flags are 4" x 6" and paper pieced. The pattern is from Liza Taylor Handmade. The pattern is available free here https://lizataylorhandmade.com/blogs...terns-round-up

Your choice of fabrics really make these little flags. It looks like a fun project and your banner and table runner came out so cute. Now you are ready for Labor Day and any other patriotic holiday.

Yes! They are going to stay all summer until I decide to put out my fall table runner. I'm considering making a pumpkin banner to use for fall also.
