    Default Foxy Friends baby quilt

I just finished this adorable quilt. All equilateral triangles, and I give my Accuquilt equilateral triangle die all the credit for keeping this one straight and matching. Trying to keep the bias and straight edges identified would have drive me to distraction, but the die cut nice little notches on the bias sides for matching up. My biggest mistake on this one was using the walking foot on my domestic machine. Those of you who do this routinely, my hat is off to you. I was pulling my hair out pushing it through the throat of my Bernina 440. Next one I do (and yes, fabric has already been bought) will have FMQ in a grass/leaf pattern with some detailing on the animals. It is destined for a baby shower my daughter is going to. She bought the fabric and picked all the colors.

What a darling quilt, Pam! I'm with you on straight line quilting. It never works for me. I'm a lot better using stencils or the like and FMQ. I can use a walking foot for small projects or binding but on a whole quilt it's a disaster.

Such a darling quilt. Well done. I am a big fan of Accuquilt. Looking at this makes me think the equilateral triangle is in my future.
