That is a really cool idea leaving in the labels.

Nice quilt!

It's interesting that the shirts were all purchased, used, in Poland, but the labels you show are all in English, except perhaps the last line of the Springfield shirt. It this true for all the shirts?

Your quilt is just amazing Love the fact that you used old shirts, but, with the twist of keeping the labels on A keeper for sure!!! Thanks for the inspiration.

Yes. Pretty much. These shirts are mostly from western Europe, so sometimes labels are in French or have French or other nationality designers. I did buy one that had stuff in Russian on it, but not the main label. When they say "Western Europe" most of the used clothing seems to be imported from the U.K. Not sure why, but that seems to be what is happening.

Brits much go through a lot of clothes!

Apparently they are very, very generous people (since they are collected originally door to door, often, for charities and end up being sold to Poland).

Love your quilt. I have my dads clothes , but have yet to make a quilt. Most of his shirts are not all cotton, so I will have to use an interfacing or foundation , but still do plan to make a few. Looking forward to seeing your other ones.

My question too......are there no fabric stores. Does everything cloth wise come from other countries?
