    Good job... That is sooooo much better than mine. I usually hand quilt because I hate the way my fm comes out.

    Way to go! FMQ takes a lot of practice, so you may as well have fun while you're doing it. Be sure to keep your "practice" pieces. They are great for referencing designs you've come up with and, if you are like me, you'll get a kick out of looking at them later on.

    You're doing great! I read that it takes about 40 hrs to get good at FMQ. I've got about 5 hrs so far-all I've tryed is stipple & meandering so far- I need to get brave like you & try something more!

    I should be a lot better than I am, now I'm making quilts faster than I use to and my quilting doesn't look as good. Maybe I am trying harder and trying to quilt faster. Oh well, I am trying for a perfect quilt and don't think there is any such thing.

    tyvm im sure its not that bad you will get better you just have to practice i only been doing those for about 2 days now off and on

    thank you all very much. i hope to get better at it soon as i will be trying it on a quilt soon. i will post pics of it after i am done with it

    Wow! I have only tried stipple & meandering. I tend to make it too little and then the quilt is stiff. I like the spacing you are using.
