I love your throw! I did not know they received a quilt when they returned. My husband so wanted to take his father but by time they got it going Grandpa felt he could not travel. Great program. Thank you for doing this!

This is a concern for all the organizations providing this type of service. The local group increased their flights from once a year for 40 veterans, to twice a year to try and get as many participants as they can before health issues prevent their travel. This weekend is the first one for this year and September is the second. I may try to make another one after the t-shirt quilt I am making for my niece who graduates in June.
